Car insurance, also known to others as auto insurance is a very important thing. I have personally had a couple of experiences where car insurance or auto insurance came in and and helped me. The insurance company really did save me a lot of money in the long run. Sure, no one likes to be in a car accident and most people don?t wreck their car on purpose. That is why it is called a car accident, because that is what it is. And car insurance is what comes in and saves you from these car accidents, and let?s be honest with ourselves. Car accidents happen, no matter how good we are at driving a car, we can still have an accident.
I have had a couple of instances where car insurance became more real and important to me. Auto insurance wasn?t just some lousy payment I had to pay each month. After being in a car accident I saw the importance of car insurance. I was driving an Audi A4 for my work one day. For those who don?t really know one car from another an Audi A4 is an expensive car. At least, too expensive of a car for an eighteen year old like me. Anyways, I was driving this car back from dropping someone off and I got t-boned by someone in a different car.
I had the right of way, but if neither of us had car insurance we would have been in a lot of trouble. There is no way I could ever raise the money to pay off the damages done to the car. And looking at the other person in the other car I would say there is no way he could have paid for the damaged car. Car insurance is what came in and paid for those damages. It was beneficial to me and to him. One, I didn?t have to take him to court to get the money for this nice car. And two, he didn?t have to go into serious debt to pay for the car repairs.
Car insurance has also benefited me greatly when I was in a car accident that was my fault. Or at least the car accident was determined my fault. I still am not so sure the car accident was my fault. I was pulling out of a car park when I was t-boned by someone. This car did not have their headlights on and that is why I don?t think the car accident could be determined against me. But my car insurance came in and payed for the damages done to the other car. There is no way I could have paid for the car repairs without the insurance. I seriously wouldn?t ever want to be in an accident where neither party had auto insurance or car insurance.
Insurance quotes are going to differ between different insurance companies. But remember, car insurance will save you more money in the long run.
