Rome woman claims 1st place in Volvik Georgia Women's Open, senior division

A Rome woman won first place in the Volvik Georgia Women's Open, senior division.

Bonnie Grizzard shot 155, beating the second-place finisher by three strokes after two rounds. Grizzard claimed a $450 prize. Mary Holmes, of Cleveland, Ga., won $275 for second place.

The Volvik Georgia Women's Open occurred Monday and Tuesday at the Brookfield County Club in Roswell.
